a long time in
the making
Bramble Lee Pryde (she/they) founded Mise en Agency, a consultancy dedicated to supporting artists with strategic guidance, narrative development, and practice-based growth. With over 15 years of experience as an interdisciplinary artist and a professional background spanning design, branding, and corporate leadership, Bramble brings a uniquely holistic perspective to creative mentorship and development.
Their career includes roles as a full-time artist, design graduate, brand founder, and former Field Executive in Operations, Sales, and Training. This blend of experiences allows Bramble to bridge creative vision with sustainable business strategy, offering artists structure and support without compromising their artistic voice.
Mise en Agency was created in response to the gaps Bramble observed in the art world, particularly around business acumen, identity development, and access to resources. The agency specializes in helping artists clarify their goals, build growth frameworks, and communicate their work effectively across traditional and digital platforms.
Bramble is especially committed to working with concept-driven, socially aware artists who seek alternatives to mainstream, commercialized models of success. Their approach emphasizes integrity, clarity, and collaboration, helping artists build sustainable and uncompromising practices.
in bramble’s words:

Borrowed from mise en scène, our name reflects what we do best — intentional, thoughtful arrangement. We help you put every piece of your practice in its place so your work stands out without needing to shout

I'm an interdisciplinary artist and strategic consultant with 15+ years of experience working at the crossroads of creative practice and practical structure. I founded Mise en Agency to support artists who want to grow their work without compromising their values, their weirdness, or their voice.
Through a mix of one-on-one mentorships, custom business planning, brand storytelling, design strategy, and digital know-how, I help artists get clear on what they want — and build systems to make that happen. Whether it’s refining your pricing, building a pitch deck, or figuring out how to present your work online (without it feeling gross), I’ve got you.

While it is a challenge to capture exactly what I have done, let me try:
Help you define (or untangle) your art vs. commercial practice
Offer business coaching and strategic planning that doesn’t feel like LinkedIn in disguise
Design websites, pitch decks, dossiers, and artist statements that actually reflect you
Create SEO-ready, human-first digital portfolios, websites and e-commerce
Run workshops and facilitate mastermind groups that combine critique with clarity
Guide you through submissions, grant prep, and gallery outreach.

Primarily, yes. But the resources run deep.
While I work with artists one-on-one in many aspects, I also have access to a group of top-tier people that I bring in for specialized areas such as grant writing, communications and press readiness, photography, videography, and more. Together, we can help you build a robust framework for your practice.

Thoughtful artists. Conceptual thinkers. People making meaning, not content. Folks who want structure, not restriction. And anyone tired of being told to "personal brand" themselves into oblivion.
My clients have ranged from first-time gallery show artists to self-taught makers to artists holding their MFAs. I will always have time for anyone who is open to learning new approaches.
Also, if you’re building something weird, brilliant, or quietly subversive, I’m here for it.
